Elephant and Feather - Air Resistance

Assume that an elephant and a feather are dropped off a extremely tall building from the similar height at the similar time. We will suppose the realistic situation which both feather and elephant encounter air resistance. That objects - the elephant or the feather - will hit the ground first? The animation at the right precisely depicts this situation. The motion of the elephant and the feather within the presence of air resistance is displays. Additionally, the acceleration of each object is represented through a vector arrow.
