Connecting devices can  classified  into networking and internetworking  devices when  two  or more  devices are  connected with each  other  to share data or messages we call  it networking  of devices in case  of networking all the devices are compatible with each  other but in  case of  internetworking two incompatible network may still share information and communicate with  each other.
