Our WordPress website has a custom post type called 'Artists'. Users can upload numerous images to their listing when they join the website as well as they have dashboard access so they can manage these images after registration. We use the GravityForms plugin to permit registration which passes details to PayPal to collect payment. When payment is done Paypal sends a completion message to the website (IPN) therefore that the artist can be created.
The difficulty we have is that when the artist gets added their images get added to the media library, but the 'Author' and 'Uploaded To' fields for that artist don't get assigned. They are left blank as well as this means that artists cannot edit them within their dashboard view. We then want to manually edit the media library items to assign them to the correct user. This wants to be fixed so.
