It is acquired as latex from rubber trees. The latex is coagulated along with formic acid or acetic acid. The coagulated volume is after that squeezed

The natural rubber that is raw is a soft gummy and sticky volume. It is not soluble in water, alkalies and dil. Acids although soluble in carbon disulphide, chloroform, ether, petrol and benzene. It soaks up a large volume of water. It comprises minimum tensile strength and elasticity.
