(a) Name five Pre-press operations which are usually done by the press?

(b) Stripping and Imposition refer to the plan and arrangement of pages so that when printed, folded and trimmed, they would appear in the correct order.

In 6 Steps, demonstrate how pages must be arranged when they are printed on a large sheet (16x), which is then folded and trimmed.

(c) Explain in details how stripping differs from imposition.

(d) Registration mark is done only for 2-to 4-color printing.

(i) What is the need of a registration mark?

(e) On-press operations are generally done on transfer of images to paper. Name these operations?
