Multiprocessing or also called distributed processing system provides solution to problems of above timesharing systems. In this systems also a powerful computer mini or mainframe is connected to many microcomputer ( terminals with processors) instead of simple dumb terminals as shown in figure many tasks are performed locally on user processor however a user can access the computing power memory etc of the large computer when needed.
