Method Study

Work methods analysis method study is a scientific technique recordings and significantly examining the present method of performing a task or job operation along with the aim of improving the present method and developing a new and chapter method. It is also termed as methods improvement or work enhancement. It includes the study of work processes, working conditions and equipments and tools employed to perform the job.

According to British Standard Institute: Method study might be understood like the systematic recording and critical examination of existing and proposed ways of doing work as a means of developing and applying easier and much more effective method and reducing costs.
