Merits and Demerits of Frederick Winslow Taylor management

Merits: It revolutionised scientific approach of management theory and enhance productivity.

Demerits: It violates the rule of one boss for a man and since it has two or more boss for every worker this led to confusion and misunderstanding. The mental revolution is the corner stone of scientific management and never materialised except in isolated case and for short period of time.
