Measurement of length:
If the Zeroth division of the head scale does not coincide with the index line the Screw gauge has Zero error.
If the Zeroth division of the head Scale is below the index line of the pitch Scale, the error is said to be +ve and correction is negative. If the Zeroth division of the head scale is above the index line of the pitch scale, the error is said to be -ve and correction is positive. The Diameter of your pencil and a given pin is measured with a screw Gauge.
In some screw gauges, the Zero error can be eliminated by adjusting the position of the stud (S ).
Same units are used for P.S.R. and L.C.
The last column in finding the diameter of a bob in the tabular form is P.S.R + (C.H.S.R X L.C). Vernier Callipers and Screw Guage are Mechanical Devices.
The least count of an ordinary scale is 1 mm.
To hold the marble tightly between S and S , we used by rotating the Milled head M.1
A floater to show surface tension Bend a piece of small copper wire into a ring about 8 cm in diameter. Attach two other pieces of wire rigidly to conflicting sides of the ring

(a) Two55 g ice cubes are dropped into300 g of water in a thermally insulated container. If the water was initially at 25°C, and the ice came directly from a freezer at -15°C, what
Q. Cart on Track which consists of a vertical circular loop? Here we have a cart on a track which consists of a vertical circular loop. Of course we don't want the cart to fall
HOW TO FIND HALF LIFE
Q. The half life of radon is 3.8 days. Calculate mean life. Half Life Period HLP T ½ = 0.6931 / λ = 0.6931 τ therefore Mean life τ = T ½ / 0.
Maxwell''s equations are a set of partial differential equations that, together with the Lorentz force law, form the foundation of classical electrodynamics, electric circuits and
Newton's laws of motion (Sir I. Newton) Newton's first law of motion A body remain continues in its state of constant velocity (that may be zero) unless it is acted on
Explain Joule's Law: "Work done is directly proportional to the heat produced.
