RB6 and RB7 used for PGC and PGD respectively between target and ICD2 module. Some of the requirements of the in-circuit debugger are as follows:

  1. The in-circuit debugger requires exclusive use of some hardware and software resources of the target.
  2. The target PIC-micro MCU must have a functioning clock and be running.
  3. The ICD2 can debug only when all the links in the system are fully functional.
