In a War , faighter planes typically descended down on bombers from above in the direction of the sun (so it was difficult to see them). Against this strategy, the gunners on the bombers put on dark glasses and looked into the sun for the planes. This gave fighter planes an additive strategy to attack bombers by flying directly at the bombers from below. If the plane was not seen, he succeeded. However, if he was seen, then it was certain death. For the payoff matrix given below
