For the 1945-1980s period, select three Latino/a populations-one (1) from the Caribbean region (Cuba, Puerto Rico or Dominican Republic); one (1) from Central America (El Salvador, Guatemala or Nicaragua); and either Panama or Colombia-and compare and contrast their immigration, settlement and adjustment patterns using the ‘context of reception' framework.
