Key Advantages of rubber dams are as follows- (i) As rubber is bendable in nature it is capable of performing depression even in presence of dirt and sedimentation on downstream side. (ii) As foundation of rubber dams is reasonably lighter than that of steel-gate dams, it saves both construction price and occasion.
