Q. Local operator panel for steam generator?

A local operator's panel is required for operator use during Steam Generator light off. This panel shall contain the following equipment as a minimum:

• Status sequence lights

• Flame safeguard management system and flame strength meter

• Burner Switch

• Reset button

During Steam Generator light off, the operator shall be at the local control panel and in communication with the control room operator. Upon initiation of start-up, the operator will wait for the signal that the permissive start valve can be opened.
