The reason may be that accidents and health hazards are more possible and serious in industrial situations rather than in educational institutions. Still much of legislation regarding design of buildings, electricity, fire and storage of hazardous materials etc. are applicable to both types of situations. The educational institutions should also take particular care to follow Excise Rules (applicable to purchase of alcohol) and regulations regarding experiments on animals.
