Inspection of fasteners of motorcycle, Mechanical Engineering

Inspection of Fasteners: The motorcycle carries number of nuts and bolts. They should be properly tightened for the smooth running of motorcycle.

  • All fasteners are checked for correct torque.
  • Important nuts like Engine mounting nuts, suspension nut and axle nuts should be maintained at proper torque value.
  • All split pins should be replaced and installed properly.
  • Refer to following torque table for the recommended values.
