Execution: Now instruction is ready for execution. A different opcode will need different sequence of steps for execution. Hence let's discuss a few illustrations of execution of some simple instructions for purpose of identifying some of steps required during instruction execution. Let's start the discussions with a simple case of addition instruction. Supposing we have an instruction: Add R1, A which adds content of memory location A to R1 register storing result in R1. This instruction would be executed in following steps:
