The median describes the value of the middle term in data. The data set must be ranked first in increasing order before the middle value is identified. The median separates the ranked data into two subsets of equal size.
Example

Solution:
Sort the data : = 18,24,25,29,30 . So the middle of the data is the (5+1) / 2 = 3 rd term of the data; that is 25.
