How does TCP take of wrapping over of sequence numbers?
To handle out of instruct deliveries, transport protocols utilize sequencing. The sending side attaches a sequence number to all packets. The receiving side stores both the sequence number of the final packet received in order plus a list of additional packets which arrived out of order. While a packet arrives, the receiver inspects the sequence number to find out how the packet must be handled.
TCP take care of wrapping over of sequence numbers through leaving a set of consecutive sequence numbers in between initial sequence numbers of two TCP connections beginning inside some specified time. Such duration is termed as forbidden region.
