How do i get resources, Project Management

Assignment Help:

Q. How do I get resources?

We must assume that the requisite planning as discussed in Question 12 has been completed and the resulting plan approved for implementation. In that case the necessary resources needed for the project must be secured by means of commitments. If the resources apprehensive are people from within the organization then a release should be obtained for some or all of their time to be contributed to the project. Likewise it will be necessary to get their willing participation in (that is commitment to) the project.

If the resources in question are of the material type it perhaps necessary to procure them by negotiating internal agreements obtaining approval for the issue of purchase orders or by following established procedures to enter into agreements and contracts. Such contracts then represent legal as well as financial obligations of the project and ultimately of the sponsoring organization.
