Q. How can we use Spiral model in large-scale systems?

Spiral model is as well known as spiral life cycle model is the system development life cycle model utilized in information technology. This model of development merges the features of prototyping model as well as waterfall model. The spiral model is utilized for large and expensive and complicated project.

  • It Presented by BARRY BOHEM in late 1986 incorporating the project risk factor.
  • Designed in order to conquer the demerits of waterfall model.
  • The radial dimension represents the collective cost acquired in accomplishing the steps done therefore far as well as the angular dimension represents the progress made in completing every cycle of the spiral.
  • Every loop is a development stage.
  • Equilibrium all the risk elements that is the high-risk element should be lowered.
  • The people apprehensive with the project complete every phase with a review.
