Hollow restorations for re-lining, Biology

A hollow restoration may be fabricated based on the original form determined by the diagnostic preview. This restoration can be re-lined on completion of the surgical phase of implant exposure. Excellent aesthetics can be achieved with aesthetic and functional form transferred through all the phases of treatment. However, the sub- gingival extension of the definitive restoration is completed when the impressions are taken during the prosthetic phase.
