Solution: There actually isn't a whole lot to this one.  Given the graph for -4 ? ≤ x ≤ 4 ? .

Note that we can put all values of x in cosine (that won't be the case for most of the trig functions) and hence the domain is all real numbers. Also note that -1 ≤ cos ( x ) ≤ 1

It is significant to notice that cosine will never be larger than 1 or smaller than -1. Generally we can say that -R ≤ R cos (? x ) ≤ R
