Let's begin with the graph of couple of polynomials.
Do not worry regarding the equations for these polynomials. We are giving these just so we can utilize them to show some ideas about polynomials.
Notice that the graphs are nice & smooth. In the graph, there are no holes or breaks and there are no sharp corners. The graphs of polynomials are always nice smooth curves.
