Globalization and the Nordic Success Model, Management Theories

Assignment Help:
The Nordic success model of globalization is very unique. Whereas most of small countries in the globe have suffered from their own openness, Nordic countries have succeeded to get the top in terms of GDP per capita as World Bank. The “Viking” recipe of success has been learning-by-doing, innovativeness & scale economies. The book portrays the Nordic man of action. Winning in global business has not much to do with big strategies. What is more important is to focus on clients and their real requirements as many Nordic companies have successfully done. Having brought fear & destruction in earlier times we “Vikings” have now made the transition to “humble” management.
