Verification means a set of work out that make sure that software accurately implements a specific function.
Validation means a different set of activities that make sure that the software that has been developed is traceable according to the customer requirements.
According to Boehm,
Verification:" Are we building the product right?"
Validation:" Are we building the right product?"
