Germinating pollen grains

Apparatus Used-Make a strong sugar solution and place it in a shallow dish like a saucer or Circular  Plate. Shake pollen from several Different kinds of flowers onto the surface of the sugar solution. Cover the solutions with a sheet of glass and stand in a warm place for several hours. If the experiment is successful we will be able to see little tubes Slowly growing from the pollen grains. Use a hand lens to observe experiment completly.
