General Anesthetics:

General Anesthetics depress the central nervous system to like an extent that all sensitivity to pain or feeling is gone, that is they make unconsciousness all over the body. These are employed for main surgical operations. These can be employed in the type of gas, for example cyclopropane, ethylene, nitrous oxide, either or may be specified in the injection as of, for example sodium pentothal.
