Functions of Treasurer:-

(1) Cash Management: - It comprises the managing of cash receipts and cash payments of the business.

(2) Banking Relations: - It comprises operating bank accounts, banking relations and managing deposits and withdrawals etc.

(3) Credit Management: - It comprises determining the credit worthiness of the customers and arrangement for collection of credit sales.

 (4) Assets Management: - It comprises arrangement for the disposal, acquisition and insurance of various assets.

(5) Securities Management: - It includes the investment of surplus funds of the business.

(6) Protecting Funds as well as Securities: - It comprises custody of funds and securities.
