Food borne intoxications are basically food borne illness caused due to ingestion of toxin produced my microorganisms (mycotoxins, bacterial toxins). Natural toxins present in food may also result in food poisoning in humans. Food poisoning is also caused by consuming old, used, residual, fermented, spoiled, contaminated, toxic and bacteria infested food.
