Floristic Composition - Qualitative Characters
One of the important qualitative characteristics of a community is its floristic composition. This broadly refers to the kind of species occurring in a community. Here, we would like to make a point.
Most communities are named after the dominant plant species that occur there. You may be thinking that why plants and not animals?
