Floating Insertion
The currency symbol ($) can emerge in multiples on the left-hand side of the picture. In this situation the character will be treated in similar way as the Z character and only one currency symbol will be inserted instantly to the left of the first non-zero digit of the data. These floating insertion is also possible in the case of minus (-) and plus (+) signs. In the situation of the minus character, there will be no sign inserted unless the data is negative. The appearance of the period halts the floating insertion.
