Flight fine pitch stop failure, Other Engineering

FLIGHT FINE PITCH STOP FAILURE (OVERSPEED)

An overspeed is prevented by an automatic coarsening device.

A switch mounted on the Hub closes when the blade angle is below Flight Fine Pitch. With the circuit complete the Piston Lift Solenoid is energised and the propeller coarsens off.
