Find the coefficient of self induction, Physics

Assignment Help:

Q. An emf of 5 V is persuading when the current in the coil changes at the rate of 100 As-1. Find the coefficient of self induction.

Solution:

Induced emf   e = - L dI/dt

Coefficient of self induction L  = - e / (dI/dt)

  = - 5 / 100

L = 0.05 H
