The magnetic force depends on following factors:

1. Nature of Pole: Like poles repel each other and unlike pole attract each other.

2. Distance among the poles:

3. Magnetic force is directly proportional to the square of the distance among the two poles.

4. Strength of the poles: The greater the strength of the poles the stronger the magnetic field.
