The Web is playing an increasing role in facilitating the use of intelligent systems such as knowledge management and decision support systems (DSS). Solutions to complex scheduling and other problems can be enhanced with the use of intelligent web tools. These web tools such as DSS have been designed to support managerial decision makers.

(i) Define Knowledge Management and explain clearly the factors involved in Knowledge management.

(ii) Describe with examples the main processes involved in Knowledge Management and state the importance of having a knowledge map.
