Explain work study as a management tool.

Work Study as a Management Tool: Work study checks the work done in an organization and this aims at finding the best and most efficient manner of using available resources; it is a generic term for those techniques mainly 'method study' and 'work measurement'. As a management tool, work study is used for examination of human work in all its contents. It in turn, leads systematically to the investigation of all factors that affect the efficiency of the situation being reviewed, so as to seek enhancements.
