Vector Addition
While we become students of physics and approach the job of adding vector quantities, we soon become aware of the fact in which the addition of two vector quantities along with magnitudes of 6 and 8 will not necessarily result in an answer of 14. The rules for adding vector quantities are various than the rules for adding two quantities arithmetically. Therefore, vectors along with magnitudes of 6 + 8 will not unavoidably sum to 14.
All the traveling waves satisfy a differential equation which is known as the wave equation
Production of electricity by pressure: Certain crystals and semiconductors produce an emf between two opposite faces when the mechanical pressure on them is either increased or
Define Atmospheric Energy - thermodynamics? The mass of the Earth's atmosphere, p(z), varies with height z above the Earth's surface. Assume that the "thickness" of the atmosp
A 20 Ω non-reactive resistor is connected in series with a coil of inductance 80mH and negligible resistance. The combined circuit is connected to a 200V, 50Hz supply. Calcula
An iron ring of mean diameter 10 cm is uniformly wound with 2000 turns of wire. When a current of 0.25 A is passed by the coil a flux density of 0.4 T is set up in the iron. F
