Explain the term Intracellular Filaments?

Intracellular Filaments : The cell contains fibrous proteins which serve to give the cell its shape and internal organization and form what is called the cytoskeleton. They also perform functions in diffentiation and cellular motility. The intracellular filaments include microtubules, microfilaments, and intermediate filaments.
