Sensory Receptors

Sensory information received by these receptors is transmitted through sensory fibres of peripheral nerves to sensory areas at different levels of spinal cord. From spinal cord sensory information are transmitted through bundles of nerve fibers, to different areas of brain. Analysis and interpretation of this sensory information is done at different levels of central nervous system.
