Assignment Help:

State the scope of thermodynamics in thermal engineering.

Thermal engineering is a very significant associate branch of mechanical, chemical, environmental, aerospace, marine, textile engineering, metallurgical, automobile, energy technology, process engineering of refinery, fertilizer, pharmaceutical, organic and inorganic chemical plants. Where there is combustion, heating or cooling, exchange of heat for performing chemical reactions, conversion of heat into work for generating mechanical or electrical power; railway engines, propulsion of rockets, ships, etc., application of thermal engineering is needed. Thermodynamics is the essential science of thermal engineering.
