(a) (i) Define the following terms briefly: COCOMO, DSI, FSP, MM, ACT, TDEV, (MM)AM.

(ii) State the assumptions underlying the Basic COCOMO model.

(b) Suppose that you are developing the software for a nuclear power plant control system. Select the most appropriate mode for the project and use COCOMO model to give a crude estimate of the total number of person months required for the development, assuming that the estimated software size is 10,000 delivered source instructions.

(c) The father of all software cost estimation publications produced by Boehm indicates the effectiveness of the Wideband Delphi Technique as a structured technique of expert judgment for producing as accurate and unbiased estimate. Describe this technique in a multi-step procedure.
