Sources of Manpower Recruitment:

 (i) From in the Company

The sources of manpower recruitment for any company are as following:

  • Through promotion
  • Through transfer
  • Former workers who had good service records while they left.

 (ii) From outside the Company

  • Relatives and friends of present employees duly recommended through them.
  • By press and other advertisements.
  • By employment agencies.
  • By schools, colleges and universities.
  • By labour unions.
  • By waiting lists.
  • As recommended through Professional bodies and societies.
  • Foreign sources.
  • From unsolicited applications received, both at the gate and through the mail.
  • By trade associations.
  • By Government employment exchanges.
  • By labour contractors.
  • By personnel consultants.
  • With the help of Notices exhibited on the factory gate.
