Explain POINT ANGLE - Angle of drills

It is also known as a cutting angle. Its most commonly used value for a large variety of materials is 118.Though,its varies from 80 to 140. Smaller point angle is favored for a brittle materials and the larger one for harder and tougher materials. It is the angle included between the two opposite lips of drill, measured in a plane containing the axis of drill and both the lips.
