Explain Iinmunoglobulin E - classification of antibodies

Protects against organisms which escaped IgA, major deference against helminthes, mediates allergy. On coming in contact with specific Ag, it releases mast cell granules. These granules contain a chemical which leads to an inflammatory reaction and also ohemotactic migration of granulocytes.
