Explain how memory paging is used for memory addressing.
The memory paging mechanism placed inside the 80386 and above permits any physical memory location to be assigned to several linear addresses.
The linear address is known as the address generated with a program. Along with the memory paging unit, this linear address is invisibly translated in any physical address that allows an application written to function at an exact address to be located through the paging mechanism. This also allows memory to be placed in areas where no memory exists.
