Q. In a galvanometer, increasing the current sensitivity does not necessarily increase voltage sensitivity. Explain
An interesting point to note is that raising the current sensitivity does not necessarily increase the voltage sensitivity. While the number of turns (n) is doubled current sensitivity is also doubled (from the equation θ/ I = nBA / C). But raising the number of turns correspondingly increases the resistance (G). therefore voltage sensitivity remains unchanged.
