Explain Cutting Speed - Cutting Parameters

  • It is relative speed (V1) between wheel and the Work piece.
  • It is expressed in m/sec.

V=Cutting speed=V1

=πDN1/1000 × 60

Where D=Diameter of grinding wheel in mm.

N1=Speed of wheel in R.P.M.
