Explain Compensation.

Compensation:

An employer is not responsible to pay compensation to an employee under the given circumstances/occasions: -

(i) While the injury disables a workman for less than 3 days.

(ii) When injury is caused through an accident that occurred when the workman was under the affect of alcohol or drugs.

(iii) The injury is caused because of willful disobedience of the rules through the workman.

(iv) It is caused owing to the willful removal of some safety guard by the workman.
