Ans. COCOMO denotes for constructive cost model

- An empirical model basis on project experience.

- Well-documented and independent model which isn't tied to a specific software vendor.

- There is a long history of COCOMO model from original versions published in 1981(COCOMO-81) through a variety of versions instantiations to COCOMO-2.

- Then COCOMO-2 takes into account various approaches to software development and reuse etc.
